The Lifetime Television movie that premiered on the network in '99 stars Jennifer Lewis along with a host of others. In in it, Lewis plays a washed up pop diva determined to make a comeback and the downward spiral that entails.
From Whoopi Goldberg playing the jealous bitter older sister to the many celebrity appearances like Rosie O'Donnell, Liza Minelli, Sean Hayes, Diahann Carroll, and Chris Rock detailing run-ins with the the diva. This movie, directed by Robert Townsend, is a cackle from start to end.
