This is a remake that my sister would love!Many a Saturday my dear older sister would make me sit with her to watch one of her favorite movies, Steel Magnolias almost every time it came on. Starring Sally Fields, Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, and Julia Roberts, this classic drama recently saw a reboot courtesy of Lifetime Television and executive producer Queen Latifah. With her also taking on the lead role originally played by Fields, the remake also stars Phylicia Rashad, Jill Scott, Lance Gross, Michael Beasley, and Alfre Woodard with newcomers Adepero Oduye and Condola Rashad.
Steel Magnolias is said to premiere later in the year. Check out the preview below.
